Its the Brewers Choice!!
There are two reasons for calling this fantastic and innovative new range of beer kit's "Brewers Choice" Firstly, they contain the choicest ingredients- first grade spray dried malt extract, fresh hops and grain and genuine brewing yeast-secondly, the brewer is given the choices of ingredients to complete the kit.
The Choices are:-
Choice 1: Sugar 1kg (for best results use Brewing Sugar). This will produce a light-bodied beer with a pronounced hop character. O.G. 1.048 - 1.050

Choice 2: Spray Dried Malt Extract 1kg Medium. This will produce a beer with more body and a maltier profile; hops are still in evidence though. O.G. 1.048 - 1.050

Choice 3: Brupaks Premium Grade Malt Extract 1.5kg Pale. This method produces a truly commercial quality beer with a fuller body and a higher alcohol content. O.G. 1.052 - 1.054
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Ensure that all equipment is clean and sterile before use.
2.Place the Brubags of hops and grain into a clean saucepan and cover with 2 litres of boiling water. Leave for 20 minutes then pour the liquid into your fermenting vessel.
3.Repeat step 2.
4.Repeat step 2 and discard Brubags.
5.Add the bag of malt extract to the fermenting vessel and stir until dissolved using a sterilises spoon. Add your chosen ingredient from the list above (if using a can of extract, heat if first by placing the unopened can in boiling water for 15 minutes-it will then pour easier. Use more boiling water to rinse out any remaining extract from the can). Top up with cold (preferably filtered) water to 5 gallons (23 litres) and stir vigorously for five minutes to oxygenate. Check that the temperature of the liquid is between 20c and 25c then pour in the yeast and stir again briefly.
6.Cover the fermenter and place where it can be left undisturbed at room temperature (18c-22c). after 5 to 7 days fermentation should be over. siphon into another vessel (preferably one with an airlock) and stir gently. After 2 days your beer will be ready for bottling/barrelling. siphon into bottles prime with sugar (1/2 teaspoon per pint) or a keg primed with 100 grams of the same. Place your beer in a warm place for 7 days then transfer to somewhere cool for a further 7 days. Enjoy!

TEA BAG TECHNOLOGY
The Brubags is like a large tea bag. It allows the flavour of the hops and grains to "flood Out" without any messy straining. The Brewer's Choice range of beer kits uses Tea bag Technology to incorporate fresh roasted and caramel grains and aromatic hops.

Customer Reviews

Taste Great!  In my opionion this is the closest to Real ale you can get without using grains (sparging etc!) Realy does taste like your down at the pub. I used beer enhancer instead of sugar, This made quite a strong ale so don't over do it...Hiccup!!   Jimmy - Liverpool
