Patchouli Essential Oil by Neph

Patchouli Essential Oil 10ml Bottle (pogostemon cablin)
Native to tropical Asia and long used there as a preservative and to prevent diseases spreading. In the West it is used to assist cracked skin. It is a reputed aphrodisiac and used to calm and counter stress. Patchouli became a favourite in the sixties amongst hippies.

Aromatherapy Oils can be used in a number of ways for:-

Massage
when diluted in a carrier oil such as Grapeseed

Bathing
by adding a maximum of 6 drops into a warm bath.

Vaporisation
by adding 3 or 4 drops diluted in water using a burner
Inhalation by putting 1 or 2 drops on a hankie or pillow or in a bowl of warm water for steam inhalation.

Shampoo
by adding up to 60 drops (3ml) into 100ml of mild shampoo

Essential Oils should not be used neat on the skin except usually only lavender and never taken internally.
Eyes are particularly sensitive and contact should be avoided.
Particular Oils should be avoided in pregnancy and by those with specific medical conditions such as Epilepsy and high blood pressure.
