Sage Tablets by Lamberts

An increasingly popular herb with a long history of use.
Sage has been used by herbalists for centuries for a number of conditions, but is better known today for its use in cooking.
However, sage is a potent herb with some interesting natural ingredients. Recently sage has become a popular ingredient in supplements for the menopause, a use supported by some studies. However the levels used in these products are generally too low to be relevant.

Sage has also been recommended as an aid to maintaining memory and a recent study showed that sage was able to improve alertness in some of the participants in the study.

Each of these Lamberts Sage tablets provides the equivalent of 2.5g of dried herb. We insist on a high grade sage extract that has a guaranteed level of 2.5% rosmarinic acid (the 'active' compound in sage). Sage also contains an unpleasant naturally occurring compound called thujone, but the sage extract we use in this Lamberts® product is carefully manufactured to be have very low, insignificant levels of thujone.

Each tablet Provides:
Sage 2500mg (provided by 500mg of a 5:1 extract)
Providing 2.5% rosmarinic acid

Other Ingredients
DiCalcium Phosphate, Cellulose, Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Colours: Titanium Dioxide & Copper Chlorophyllin, Glycerin), Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate.

Directions For Use:
1 Tablet daily.
