Tooheys Classic Dark Ale has the blend of dark and light roasted malts, hops and yeast that deliver a classic dark Ale taste. This is an authentic recipe developed by Tooheys brewers, and it's produced under strict supervision.
J.T. and James Toohey began brewing in 1869. They started by creating Ale recipes in the style of English and German dark beers. The first of these became known as Tooheys Old. Then in 1931, in recognition of Australia's warm climate, Tooheys got into making Lagers.
